ORGANISERS of the Lakeland Trails events have received a £35,000 grant from Cumbria Vision to enable them to develop the programme for 2007.
Indepdendent survey work showed that the new-format Trails series in the Lake District were benefitted the ecomony by about half a million pounds last year.
Now the aim is to develop the Trails programme further to be even more attractive to families wishing to spend an active weekends in the region.
