THIEVES made off with a number of signs from the Carus Green Golf Course, Burneside Road, Kendal, overnight on Saturday.
Signs from the car park, which indicated who the spaces were reserved for, such as "lady captain", "secretary", or "treasurer", which were about the size of a letter box, were taken, as were slightly larger signs with messages such as "no buggies" and "no jeans or collarless shirts to be worn". Anyone with information is asked to call 0845-3300247.
