If you're longing for your youth and love 80s music then why not take a trip down memory lane and enter this week's star-studded prizetime.

It was the era of Ra-Ra skirts, fluorescent socks, slip on shoes and plastic bangles with matching belts, earrings, necklaces and thin leather ties. Boys wore pastel pink and lemon with grey slacks; girls in t-bag t-shirts wearing every colour from their eyeshadow pallet all in one go. Yes, the 1980s weren't exactly one of our better fashion statements, but the music that's a different thing all together.

Some of our best artistes have come from the 80' and for one night only a selection of our favourites join together at The Sands Centre on Friday, October 15. You can relive this bygone era with Toyah, Nick Heyward, Curiosity Killed the Cat and Altered Images performing their best known hits.

The Best of the 80s UK tour takes in The Sands Centre on October 15 at 7.30pm. Tickets are a mere £22.50 and £19.50 from the box office on 01228 625222 or www.ticketweb.co.uk. For details visit www.carlisleleisure.co.uk.

If you would like the chance to go for free I have four pairs of tickets to give away.
