KENDAL midfielder Michael Cole grabbed two first-half goals as his side ran out 4-2 winners over a plucky Cammell Laird.

Football – Kendal hang on to claim 2-1 away victory.

KENDAL Town finished with ten men on the field for a second Saturday running after substitute Michael Cole was show a straight red for a challenge deep into injury time. However, Kendal who had scored two first-half goals, rode out a late push from North Ferriby United to claim all three points.

It was a bad day at the office all round for Kendal Town in Nantwich as they went down 4-0 the to Cheshire side, with Craig Hobson sent off and player manager Lee Ashcroft missing a second half penalty.

Football - Seven second-half goals shock Town

LEE Ashcroft’s Kendal Town looked to be well on the way to staging a major upset on Wednesday as they raced into an early lead over Premiership Sunderland and took a 4-2 lead into the half time break.
