CRICKET stalwart Keith Donoghue has been awarded the "Lifetimer Achiever" award in Cumbria Cricket Board's OSCA Awards.

Keith at the age of 71 still plays for Kendal's Thirds in the Heysham Port Westmorland Cricket League, having played for Staveley for many seasons.

He is dubbed "The Don" of Westmorland Cricket with 20,000 runs and 1,000 wickets plus - acts as a mentor to the juniors in the side and, as the testimony in the awards comments truly "just loves to play cricket".
