A 41-YEAR-OLD woman was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after she fell 100ft while walking in Langdale.
The woman from Luton, who was attended by members of Langdale and Ambleside Mountain Rescue, was scrambling on Raven Crag on Thursday when the accident happened.
She is now in the Intensive Care Unit of the West Cumberland Hospital, Whitehaven, where her condition is said to be stable.
