Food, drink and general knowledge in the village hall

WINE ENTHUSIASTS, general knowledge buffs any those who just fancy a night out with a difference are invited to Old Hutton Village Hall for a Wine and Wisdom Quiz Night.
The event, which is being held on Saturday (March 1) at 8pm, will see teams quizzed on a variety of topics and, with wine available by the bottle, it looks set to be a very merry occasion.
Anybody thinking of swatting up beforehand may want to look into the following categories: entertainment, geography, literature, sport, science and nature, music and history.
Tickets cost £6.50 and include a cold buffet offering a variety of sweet and savoury treats, including sandwiches, wraps, quiche and dips.
All proceeds go towards Old Hutton School.
