Local charity seeks funds for improvements

A KENDAL charity that provides a self-catering centre for local groups of children and young people is looking for help to finance much needed improvements.
The Time Out Project at Brettargh Holt, Levens, has recently received a generous donation from Lakeland Limited in Windermere towards upgrading the centre, which is used extensively by Brownies, Guides and art groups, but further improvements to its insulation, heating and decoration still need to be carried out.
Project members are currently seeking grants and holding fundraising events and anyone who can make a donation or would like to learn more about the project should contact 015395-61322.
