A CANCER charity is seeking sponsors for an eight-mile walk across Morecambe Bay sands.

I'm writing to ask walkers to join me on May 25 for a Sunday morning stroll with a difference - a sponsored walk across the sands at Morecambe Bay. The walk will raise vital funds for the Meningitis Trust, the UK's longest-established meningitis charity, supporting anyone affected by this life-changing disease.
