Cow stuck in marshland

FIRE crews are attempting to release a cow which has become stuck in a marsh.

One fire engine from Kendal, one from Milnthorpe and a major rescue vehicle are trying to extricate the stricken beast from land on Fish Carling Head Marsh near Heversham.

The crews were mobilised at 4.15pm and the incident is ongoing.

Oh no! I hope the moocow is alright! 2 fire engines for one moocow, thats how special cows are :)
