A YACHT has been stolen from a car park in South Lakeland.

The 20ft green and white Jeanneau Sun 2000 Cabin Cruiser yacht, which is valued at £12,000, was stolen from the Ferry Nab car park, in Bowness-in-Windermere, between 7.50am and 8.20am this morning.

The tyres of the Ford Mondeo, to which the yacht was attached, had been let down.
