CUMBRIA Police are still searching for a 75-year-old man who has been missing since Wednesday (March 22).
Police and mountain rescue teams have been scouring the Appleby area in search of David Winder from Hilton, who failed to return from his usual lunchtime walk.
Farmers and landowners in the Hilton, Murton and Dufton areas are now being asked by police to check outbuildings, such as barns, as part of the search effort.
Mr Winder is described as being about 5ft 9ins tall with dark brown thinning hair.
He was believed to be wearing a black woolly hat,grey trousers and carrying a rucksack at the time of his disappearance.
