Well The Sunderland game is fast approaching, this has been the talk of the town for quite a few weeks. And it is sure to be one heck of a match at The Lakeland Radio Stadium on Wednesday night.

I know that Sunderland will be sending a fairly strong squad to The Lakeland Radio Stadium,a team packed with under 21 international players is sure to test Kendal big time on the night.

Town had a disapointing pre season defeat at Lancaster on Saturday, it was more disapointing because we dominated the match and just couldn't take our chances. The manager being sent off in the 1st half didn't help, he apparently lashed out at a Lancaster player, but i understand that the Lancaster player should have gone as well. That said i think Ashy may have to serve a suspension for a few games i am not 100% sure.

Overall the teams coming on alright going into The opening Unibond Premier game away at Ilkeston this weekend. My only real concern is our striking options, With both Paul Fildes and Gareth Arnison gone from the club, and with Ashy seemingly suspended, that leaves us with Alex Taylor and Craig Hobson up top, I know we have Gordon Scottish but hes un proven up front as yet. I also know we have Zach Clarke who could play in behind the front man.

But as good as Taylor and Hobby are we are quite short in striking options. I will be interested too see how we get on in that respect, maybe we will buy another forward? who knows?

Anyhow Wednesday should be a good game, it kicks off at 7.30pm and Sir Tom Finney is going to be at the ground as well, Check back Friday as i will look over The Sunderland match and forward to The Ilkeston away game on Saturday.

Richard
