This week during British Food Fortnight, diners at Harvey Nichols Fifth Floor Restaurant will have the opportunity to experience the charm and cuisine of Michelin-starred Sharrow Bay hotel, in the heart of Knightsbridge.
Starting on Thursday 25 September and running until Thursday 2 October (inclusive) the event has enticed a huge number of London punters itching to sample Sharrow Bay’s famous cuisine in Harvey Nichols’ exclusive 5th floor restaurant; including celebrity fans such as Ross Kemp who is a regular visitor to Sharrow Bay.
Sharrow Bay’s Head Chefs Colin Akrigg, Mark Teasdale and Paula Richardson are joining Fifth Floor Executive Chef Jonas Karlsson in the Harvey Nichols kitchens. Using the best of Cumbrian produce such as lamb from Yew Tree Farm at Coniston they will display their own distinctive style of cooking through a range of menus created for the occasion. To make the experience complete, Nicolas Chieze, Sharrow Bay’s award winning sommelier, will be working with the Harvey Nichols team of sommeliers and wine buyers to select accompanying wines from the list at the Fifth Floor Restaurant.
Jonas Karlsson, Fifth Floor Executive Chef will work in tandem with his guest chefs to produce an à la carte menu that complements the Sharrow Bay offering.

Cream of mushroom soup with cep oil.
Sautéed scallops on Morecambe Bay shrimp risotto, crispy pancetta and a scallop velouté.
Ballotine of quail wrapped in Cumbrian cured ham with cabbage, wild mushroom and a Madeira & truffle sauce.
Noisette of venison with a spiced apple, chestnut & parsnip couscous, buttered spinach, juniper berry & rosemary sauce.

Scottish fillet steak with croquette of braised oxtail on creamed Savoy cabbage, Sable potatoes and a Burgundy sauce.
Fruit sorbet.
Sharrow Bay’s world famous sticky toffee pudding.
