WILDLIFE lovers can experience a week-long series of events dedicated to the great outdoors centred on a North Yorkshire mountain, next week.
The Spotlight on Ingleborough Festival – which runs from Monday (July 7) to July 12 – features a wide variety of events and activities from wildlife talks and walks to photography workshops designed to celebrate the landscape around the mountain.
Ingleborough National Nature Reserve Manager Paul Evans said: “This event is a fantastic opportunity for people to experience the wonderful landscape of this unique area and be able to learn and explore the landscape and wildlife alongside real experts in their field.”
The festival is funded by Natural England and Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust and is supported by Heritage Lottery Fund and the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority. See website www.ydmt.org for more details.
