LEIGHTON Hall is preparing to welcome a culinary star to its annual food and craft fair next month.
BBC chef and star of Ready Steady Cook Richard Fox is set to cook up a feast in the food marquee at the hall's 26th fair, which takes place on Saturday September 8 and Sunday September 9.
Mr Fox will appear on Leighton's stage at 11am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm each day to showcase his creative skills and will join more than 100 visiting artisans who will be housed in four giant marquess throughout the grounds.
Said Mr Fox: "We will be runing three demonstartions per day that will last approximately 30 minutes each. I will be demonstrating various skills, which include short cuts for your dinner party, and if you are organised, get some ideas for Christmas."
The event will also boast family attractions, live music, a stunt horse display and dog demonstrations.
The fair will be open from 10am to 5pm on both days and Leighton Hall will be open for guided tours in the afternoon.
